The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform you about how your personal data is used by LAYFF. Please read carefully. General information about the data collected and the reasons for its collection are explained below.
Application: The LAYFF application is available on Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and LAYFF Webapp stores. https://www.layff.com
Sending an Invitation: The action indicating the desire to participate in a created event. Premium Members can also view events beyond an 8-kilometer radius from their location. Basic members can see events within an 8-kilometer radius.
Badge: For Premium membership holders. This feature is visible on the profile as long as the membership package is active.
Geolocation: Your location recorded by LAYFF and regularly updated when the option is enabled.
Request Acceptance: The event between two profiles - the one wanting to join the event and the event creator. It shows mutual matching and a notification is sent to initiate a chat.
LAYFF: Birbey Ahmet Keklik, registered in Istanbul with number 5420482045, is the sole owner of the LAYFF Application and brand.
Account: The personal space allocated to the Member in the Application, accessible by registering and connecting to the Application. It allows the Member to access the Services. A Member can only have one Account.
Intersection Point: Your geolocation recorded when your path crosses with a member who created an event, if the geolocation option is enabled.
Map: The map that allows finding Members whose paths have crossed.
Messages: Only members who create events and whose participation requests are accepted can perform the "Chat" action in the Application and send messages to each other. Messages are found in the notification box accessible via the icon at the top right of the main page.
Member: A person registered in the Application.
Member's Characteristics: Information provided by the Member about themselves describing their profile related to their lifestyle and characteristics. The Member can select the information they want to be visible on their profile from headings determined by LAYFF.
Premium Member: A member who has subscribed to LAYFF Premium.
Profile Photos: Profile photos that allow the Member to be easily recognized: in this sense, the Member agrees to publish at least one clearly recognizable photo of their face in the first position.
Services: All paid or free services offered by LAYFF to support virtual or real meetings between Members who cross paths and have mutual interest FOR A COMMON EVENT, according to defined search criteria.
The collected data is processed by the company located at Esentepe Mah. Büyükdere Cad. No:199 Şişli İstanbul, represented by company owner Birbey Ahmet Keklik.
LAYFF attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data and privacy. This privacy policy aims to inform you about how we process the data you provide to us and that we collect through your use of the Application and Services.
This privacy policy applies to all Services prepared by LAYFF that you use (excluding services provided by third parties).
When you use the LAYFF application or communicate with LAYFF, personal information about you is collected and processed. This information consists of data you directly provide to us or data we automatically collect.
When you use our Services, you transmit information to us; some of which is for identifying you. When you provide this information, some of this data may be visible to other Members of the Application and is publicly available on the Application.
Members must register to access the LAYFF Application and benefit from the Services. Members may choose to register through their Apple or Google accounts. Alternatively, Members can also register via mobile phone number.

LAYFF uses location data to show Members nearby events and other Members. If the Member refuses to activate location services on their device during registration, they are required to manually specify their city.

When you contact customer service, report another user, request help, exercise your rights regarding your personal data, or participate in events, LAYFF collects personal data as relevant to the matter.
When you use our Services and features, we collect information related to your activity on the Application:
Transaction data: LAYFF does not collect or process any banking data. Payment transactions are managed by Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Geolocation to present Events that your path has crossed or may cross.
Distribution of LAYFF campaigns, newsletters, and personalized/non-personalized advertising content. Premium Members do not see ads in the LAYFF application.
Improving services through statistical studies, satisfaction surveys, and usage analysis.
Detection and prevention of violations against the security of Services by identifying and analyzing illegal activities.
Analysis of complaints against fraudulent/unwanted behavior, suspension or deletion of accounts, detection of fake profiles.
Providing help and technical support to Members.
Technical, advertising, and audience measurement cookies may be used on our website.
Members' personal data is processed only by authorized employees and responsible persons at LAYFF. Trusted service providers and partners may also access data within the framework of the privacy policy. Data may be transferred upon request from government authorities.
Under Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK):
The Member, subject to verifying their identity, can exercise their rights by:
LAYFF retains data for the Member's registration period plus 24 months. If an Account is inactive for 24 months, it is deleted and the Member's data is retained for one more year before being permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymized.
Your Geolocations are retained for one month from the date of collection, and your Intersection Points are retained for six months.
LAYFF REFUSES TO COLLECT DATA OF MINORS. LAYFF commits to deleting the personal data of minors as soon as possible.
