Within these General Terms of Use, the following words shall be understood as specified:
Application: The LAYFF application is available on Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and LAYFF Webapp stores: https://app.layff.com
LAYFF: Birbey Ahmet Keklik, registered in Istanbul with number 5420482045, is the sole owner of the LAYFF Application and brand.
GTU: These General Terms of Use.
Member: A person registered in the Application. Members include Subscribers.
Member's Characteristics: Information provided by the Member about themselves describing their profile related to their lifestyle and characteristics.
Map: The map that allows finding Members whose paths have crossed.
Sending an Invitation: The action indicating the desire to participate in a created event. Premium Members can also view events beyond an 8-kilometer radius from their location. Basic members can see events within an 8-kilometer radius.
Badge: For Premium membership holders. This feature is visible on the profile as long as the membership package is active.
Geolocation: Your location recorded by LAYFF and regularly updated when the option is enabled.
Request Acceptance: The event between two profiles - the one wanting to join the event and the event creator. It shows mutual matching and a notification is sent to initiate a chat.
Messages: Only members who create events and whose participation requests are accepted can perform the "Chat" action in the Application and send messages to each other.
Packages: Prepaid purchase of paid features by Members.
Profile Photos: Profile photos that allow the Member to be easily recognized. The Member agrees to publish at least one clearly recognizable photo of their face in the first position.
Services: All paid or free services offered by LAYFF to support virtual or real meetings between Members after event organizers and event seekers cross paths and match, according to defined search criteria.
LAYFF Premium: All paid services offered by LAYFF as a subscription whose duration can be chosen by the Member.
Subscriber Member: A member who has subscribed to LAYFF Premium.
Account: The personal space allocated to the Member in the Application, accessible by registering and connecting. A Member can only have one Account.
The General Terms of Use determine the rights and obligations of the parties within the framework of the Application's use.
These GTU set the fundamental rules of the Application's use. Additional policies complement these terms. In case of conflict between different policies, these GTU shall prevail.
If any condition in these GTU is declared invalid or unenforceable, only that condition shall be removed; other conditions shall remain valid.
LAYFF reserves the right to unilaterally supplement or modify these GTU at any time. Members will be notified through the Application and/or email. Continuing to use the Services after an update constitutes unconditional acceptance of the changes.
Each new version of the GTU is immediately applicable to Members.
These GTU are subject to the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Istanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices have exclusive jurisdiction.
3.2.1 Priority Conciliation: The Member commits to contacting LAYFF in writing before applying to judicial authorities. LAYFF will evaluate applications within a maximum of 30 days.
3.2.2 Consumer Arbitration Boards and Mediation: If conciliation is not achieved, the Member may apply to Consumer Arbitration Boards or Mediation under Law No. 6502.
3.2.3 Competent Court: Istanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices are competent for unresolved disputes.
The Application is freely accessible on Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and LAYFF Webapp (https://app.layff.com). iOS 10 or above, Android 5 or above versions are supported.
When the required conditions are met, LAYFF allocates a personal Account to the Member containing a profile card, message box, and notification option. A Member can only have one Account.
The Member must be at least 18 years old and guarantee that all information provided during registration is accurate and up to date. Registration can be done via mobile phone number, Apple/Google Sign-in, or LAYFF Webapp.
Layff is an online socialization platform that enables members to discover social events such as sports, hiking, culture-art, and similar activities based on their interests, preferences, and optionally shared location information, and to interact with other members through these events. Layff is not a matchmaking or dating service and does not guarantee any matching or outcome between members.
Main free services:
LAYFF attaches great importance to protecting the personal data of its members. Members' personal data is processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and related legislation. Detailed information is available in the Privacy Policy.
LAYFF is obligated to provide the necessary infrastructure and technical facilities for quality service. LAYFF cannot be held responsible for operational errors on the Member's phone or internet provider outages.
LAYFF cannot be held responsible for fraud, commercial activity, prostitution, identity theft, intellectual property infringement, or similar actions committed by Members.
Layff operates as a hosting provider under Law No. 5651. It provides an accessible complaint and moderation system for reporting unlawful content. The identity of the reporting Member is never disclosed. Misuse of the complaint system constitutes a violation of the GTU.
The Member is solely responsible for verifying the identity of persons they intend to meet in real life.
Using the Application to plan and organize demonstrations in public areas is strictly prohibited.

The Member commits to using the Application solely for personal purposes. The LAYFF network cannot be used for commercial, advertising, political election, or recruitment purposes.
Only the Member is responsible for their actions and data published through the Application.
All pornographic, exhibitionist, or morally inappropriate photos are strictly prohibited.
The decision to participate in real-life events is entirely the responsibility of the Members. LAYFF cannot be held responsible for incidents occurring during these events.
The Member should regularly check their message box and notifications. Only the Member is responsible for their connection credentials.
The Member is solely responsible for all equipment and communication costs required for service access.
Any Member can switch to LAYFF Premium subscription at any time. A promotional offer may be available for eligible members.
Payment is made through your App Store or Play Store account. LAYFF has no control over payment transactions and does not collect banking data.
Subscriptions automatically renew by default. To cancel, you need to disable the auto-renewal option on the relevant platform.
The right of withdrawal can be exercised directly through Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
In case of violation of the GTU or legal regulations, LAYFF has the right to terminate the contract immediately. No refunds will be made.
The Member can receive Push notifications through the Application. Preferences can be adjusted from the Account.
LAYFF is free to publish advertising and/or promotional messages.
The LAYFF brand is the exclusive property of LAYFF. Reproduction without permission is strictly prohibited.
Original works offered by LAYFF are the exclusive property of LAYFF. Unauthorized copying or use is strictly prohibited.
Usage rights granted to the Member are for private and personal use. The Member grants LAYFF and its partners a non-exclusive, worldwide, and perpetual license for content subject to intellectual property rights.
Designing a product similar to the Application or engaging in free-riding, imitation, unfair competition, or any type of fraud is strictly prohibited.
The Member can deactivate their Account at any time. Their profile becomes invisible. It can be reactivated within 1 year.
When the Application is removed, the Member's account is not deleted. Deleting the account before removing the application is recommended.
The Member can permanently delete their account via Settings > My Data > Delete My Account or by sending an email/letter to LAYFF. Deleted accounts cannot be reactivated. Data is retained for 1 year.
In case of non-compliance with the GTU, the account may be suspended or terminated. New accounts cannot be opened for 2 years from the termination notification.
Accounts inactive for 2 years are deleted. The Member is notified with an 8-day notice. Subscriber Members' accounts are never presumed inactive.
Neither LAYFF nor the Member is authorized to disseminate information in the contract that binds them in case of dispute. Both parties commit to respecting the confidentiality clause.
